She looked like the embodiment of an Egyptian goddess – statuesque, luscious and curvy -  as if she just stepped off the temple walls.

~ Jehan

Farasha, which means butterfly in Arabic, has studied and performed various dance styles since childhood. Her vision is to bring back the sacredness to belly dance, honoring the divine feminine in every woman through the most natural way a woman can move.

As a teacher, Farasha incorporates her desire to share her ever-increasing knowledge of dance technique, love of mythologies of ancient civilizations, body awareness, and the healing/esoteric arts to develop new methods that will accelerate her students' training and increase self-love. She has quickly established herself as one of nations most popular belly dancers. Known for her inspiring workshops, languid sultry movement, and ethereal music she invites her audience to open a window into her soul.
